About

The Journal of Elementary School Education Innovation serves as an academic platform for the dissemination of scholarly works focusing on elementary education in the Indonesian context. The journal publishes high-quality research and scholarly discussions that contribute to the development of theory, policy, and practice in primary education. It is published by the Yaszoy Cahaya Nusantara Foundation. This journal aims to foster critical dialogue among researchers, educators, practitioners, and policymakers regarding teaching and learning processes, curriculum development, educational innovation, and student development at the elementary school level. Emphasis is placed on evidence-based studies and contextual approaches that reflect the characteristics, challenges, and opportunities of elementary education in Indonesia, while remaining open to comparative and global perspectives.

Aims and Scope

The Journal of Elementary School Education Innovation focuses on advancing knowledge and practice in elementary (primary) education through theoretical analysis, empirical research, and practical studies. The journal welcomes original manuscripts that examine educational issues relevant to elementary school students, teachers, and learning environments.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

  1. Teaching and learning strategies in elementary education

  2. Curriculum development and implementation at the primary school level

  3. Assessment, evaluation, and learning outcomes in elementary schools

  4. Child development in middle childhood (ages 6–12)

  5. Inclusive education and special needs education in primary schools

  6. Educational psychology and student well-being

  7. Literacy, numeracy, and character education

  8. Digital learning, educational media, and technology integration in elementary education

  9. Teacher education and professional development for elementary school teachers

  10. Family, school, and community engagement in elementary education

  11. Socio-cultural, local wisdom, and policy perspectives in Indonesian elementary education

The journal also accepts review articles, conceptual papers, and reports on innovative educational practices that contribute to improving the quality of elementary education at local, national, and international levels.

Frequency of Publication

The journal is published in March, July and November
